Learning Support 

Do you have (or think you may have) a specific learning difficulty (SpLD) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia or AD(H)D, an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), a physical or sensory impairment or an emotional/mental health concern that is holding you back from achieving your full potential?


If so, you can contact the ASC Learning Support Team for:

  • An informal chat and advice.
  • Screening and / or full diagnostics assessments for SpLDs (dsyslexia/dyspraxia/ADHD).
  • Guidance with funding and applications for Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs).
  • Arranging your individual programme of support.
  • How to use the free assistive technology available to all students, such as text to speech, dictation, translation and colour screen overlays.
  • Attend a range of personal development workshops and activities, such as Managing Personal Challenges and Keeping Motivated. You can also access the recordings 24 hours a day!
