HSU Officer Elections 2020

Each year Hartpury students vote in the HSU Officers for the next year.  Any student currently enrolled on a Hartpury course can stand, and all are eligible to vote.

This year, following student consultation and Student Council and Trustee approval we have made some adjustments to the existing officer roles and introduced some voluntary positions to support them and to increase our representation of students with protected characteristics.

The new President roles (President: Representation, President: Guidance and President: Opportunities) support our mission statement of

"Empowering students to excel by providing representation, guidance and opportunities"

while the Liberation Representative roles will ensure that we are hearing the experiences of a wider range of students and feeding that into our campaign work.

More information about the specific roles can be found here
