Summer Ball FAQ

 

The summer ball will be held on Friday 19th May 2023. The event will start at 9pm and finish at 3am. Last entry is 11pm. It is open to all Hartpury College and University students (residential and non-residential are all welcome). 

 

How much is it and where can I buy tickets?

Tickets cost £60 per person and are available to purchase via the Hartpury online shop here: https://estore.hartpury.ac.uk/product-catalogue/entertainment-non-educational-trips/summer-ball

 

Please note you MUST bring your student card with you. You will not be able to enter the event without your student card as your student card is your ticket. You will not receive a paper ticket. Please retain you e-receipt as proof of purchase. 

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Where will the event be held? 

The event will be held in a marquee on the lawns outside Hartpury House. 

 

What’s included? 

Each ticket includes entry to the Summer Ball. There will be a bar and catering facilities, where you can purchase food and drinks. 

 

Please note, this is a cashless event – in order to purchase drinks (alcoholic or soft) from the bars of food from the food stall you MUST pre-purchase drinks tokens. Drinks tokens can be purchased in blocks of £10. These will be on sale from week commencing 15th May from Legends. Drinks tokens will also be available to purchase on the night. 

 

Alcoholic drinks will only be available for 18+ and proof of age will be required for all students, so please bring your ID. 

 

How much do drinks cost? 

A drinks list will be provided closer to the ball, but prices range from £1 to £5+ for spirits/mixer.

 

What food will be available? 

Donna’s food trailer will be at the event, offering a range of food including vegan and gluten free options.  

 

Can I bring a plus one?

Yes, you can bring a plus one. Please purchase an extra ticket through the online shop. These are not shown as separate ‘+1’ tickets (just add 2 tickets to your basket). You are not require to put a student ID for the +1 if they are not a Hartpury student. 

If you are purchasing a +1 ticket, please be aware that U18's cannot have an over 18 guest. 

 

What is the dress code? 

The dress code is black tie / formal wear. 

 

Can I stay onsite? 

Non-residential college students are NOT permitted to stay overnight on campus. 

Hartpury’s non-academic behaviour management policy is still applicable at this event.
